We started in 1892 as carpenters. Today, as in the past, we are guided by three core principles: quality, design, and expertise. We explore and identify for you the leading trends in global design to offer a selection of objects that make your spaces unique… and often, we set about creating them ourselves with our own hands and passion.
Andrea Grattoni
It all began in the late 1800s, in a house aligned with the edge of a dirt road and a two-leafed door, where three brothers founded a rudimentary yet enthusiastic business: the artist, the craftsman, and the accountant. Surrounded by planes, saws, clamps, pots of fish glue, and a red, flat pencil with a thick lead sharpened by knife, they laid the foundation. In the following years, Giovanni Battista, known as Titta, passed on his passion and enthusiasm to his son Andrea, who, from a young age, eagerly followed him to trade fairs and factories. Andrea inherited not only a love for craftsmanship but also the ability to be moved by and convey emotion through wood, a material that brings warmth then, now, and always. With boundless creativity, a constant drive for innovation, and immense passion, he has built on the past to continue growing and inspiring.
Today, Andrea Grattoni has further transformed what he lovingly calls his workshop, taking the Grattoni name and his handcrafted creations to places they had never reached before, achieving ever-growing international and global recognition.
